Eean Cochran is sooo excited to be back in the DFW area! Cochran is an original cast member (swing) from the Philip Company of Hamilton that began 6+ years ago (currently in Dallas/Ft. Worth) and is back for a few weeks after his recent run with the Broadway cast. Cochran graduated from Grapevine Faith Christian School and received his BFA from Abilene Christian University. His passion to teach and his love for his home and the talent and potential here has brought about this masterclass, and he hopes to create more opportunities in the future! SPOKEN FOR INTERNATIONAL YOUTH OUTREACH
Headquartered in Grapevine, TX, Spoken For International Youth Outreach was established as a 501c3-non profit organization in February of 2002. Since that time, the organization has ministered to at-risk youth all over the world, and has taken hundreds of individuals on mission trips to Russia, Congo, Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi, India, and various locations throughout the United States.
Spoken For is currently working in the Democratic Republic of Congo, focusing on the area of Goma, a city that has been faced with devastating wars, famine, and a volcano that occasionally erupts, bringing added danger to the region. Each year, volunteers join the Spoken For ministry for a week of Group Homes camp that is hosted at SOTO - Shepherd of the Ozarks in Harriet, Arkansas. For over two decades, Spoken For has set up housing in Russia for many orphans transitioning out of orphanages to independent living as young adults. Spoken For also partnered up with Guardian Angel Adoption Agency in helping over 230 children and teens from Russia to be adopted by American families. Spoken For has also operated many outreach projects involving youth in the Creative Arts, and is presently developing a new musical about the life of Alexandra Goode, a teen who was orphaned during World War II, forced into a concentration camp in Germany, and who eventually escaped. At age 69, Alexandra and her husband started an adoption agency to help hundreds of Russian orphans.
Spoken For operates from the generous donations of donors. Funds donated help to purchase school uniforms, school supplies, food, medicine, Bibles, camp fees, and many other tools necessary to help those in need to hear about Christ, know Christ, and live for Christ through the gifts and talents God has given to them.
Alexander Hamilton was an orphan growing up as a teenager. His father left the family and his mother died while raising him. Yet, he was given the tools and knowledge to find success in a new life. Eliza Hamilton left a legacy for orphans as well, having founded the first private orphanage in New York City, still in operation today. In honor of this founding father and his wife's legacy, and in honor of those children and teens who, like Alexander Hamilton, needed a hand up to find their own way, all donations gifted with this Broadway Intensive will go towards school fees and uniforms for children and teens living in Goma, Congo, and to scholarship teenagers who will be coming from Group Homes to SOTO in August.
Any size donation is so appreciated. To donate, please press the donation button and follow the prompts, or send checks to:
